You transitioned from a successful career in jewelry design to fully embracing your healing practice. What was the defining moment that led you to make this shift, and how did it transform your personal and professional life?
After driving 18 hours straight from Maine to Illinois, I set up my jewelry booth at a high-end Chicago craft show. It was late in the day, so I didn’t think much about sun protection. Unfortunately, the intense summer heat led to a painful sunburn, setting the stage for a challenging weekend. With temperatures soaring above 100°F and no breeze, I sat in my booth for two days, sweating profusely, waiting for anyone brave enough to come out in the blazing heat and try on jewelry.
Despite the weather and lack of crowds, the show organizers refused to shut down, opting to hand out small bags of ice instead. I remember shoving the ice down the back of my skirt to cool off, only for it to melt within minutes. Adding to my frustration, the occasional passerby would comment on my lobster-red sunburn without glancing at my jewelry before heading off to find shade. It was a complete bust.
That weekend was a low point in my jewelry career, but it gave me space to reflect. I started journaling about the concept of the ‘Hell Yes.’ I realized I had been saying yes to too many things that didn’t truly excite me, spreading my energy thin on ‘maybes’ instead of focusing on the opportunities that resonated with me.
In my heart, I knew this show wasn’t the right move. Feeling pressured to make money and break into a new audience, I ignored my instincts. That weekend became a wake-up call. My Reiki healing practice had paused for a few years, but it was always in the back of my mind—a whisper from spirit. That sweltering weekend was when I knew it was time to shift gears.
Five years later, I’m incredibly grateful for that challenging moment. It pushed me to step into the life I’ve created today. Personally, it was the uncomfortable leap into the unknown I’d been avoiding for years, but it gave me the strength and clarity to say ‘hell yes’ to what truly mattered. Professionally, it was an eye-opener. I’ve been able to share my gifts with clients worldwide, and it helped me realize that, in some way, I was always doing this healing work—there was always a connection to healing in every experience with my clients.
Looking back, I’ve made over a million pieces of custom jewelry in my career, meaning many people carry a piece of my energy. Each talisman is more than just jewelry; it’s a reminder of the magic and healing we all have. I hope these pieces continue to empower and help people connect to their true selves.
As a visionary healer and talisman designer, how do you infuse your artistic talents with your spiritual practice to create meaningful tools for healing?
My Fine Arts degree is in ceramics, and I’ve always felt a deep connection to the Earth. Creating with my hands is where I indeed come alive. Only after moving to Maine 18 years ago did I start weaving my sculpting skills into a jewelry business. Discovering precious metal clay was a revelation; this malleable material allows me to carve and shape my artistic visions, and after being fired in a kiln, it transforms into fine silver—true alchemy. This process sparks the magic within me and elevates my artistry to new heights.
I believe we are spiritual beings in physical form, navigating life through our emotions and connections with others. We all crave to feel loved, seen, heard, held, and accepted. In my experience, physical objects can be powerful reminders of these intangible desires. People seek tangible tokens that reflect their progress and connection, whether it’s a connection to a lost loved one, a symbol of significant life changes like a new job, a baby, a divorce, or a personal growth journey.
I call these meaningful objects “talismans.” Traditionally, talismans are seen as lucky or protective, but they can represent so much more when we allow our emotions and desires to link with something physical. In my creative process, I combine intuition and messages from spirit with my client’s unique stories. Each talisman is crafted to resonate with their journey, a beautiful reminder of their resilience and authenticity.
This approach creates a rich blend of creativity, connection, validation, and a sprinkle of magic. By transforming personal experiences into wearable art, I empower my clients to embrace their authentic selves and celebrate their unique journeys.
What type of services do you offer?
At Maggie Moore World, I offer a diverse array of healing techniques and services, with “Claim Your Talisman” being a standout offering. When a client reaches out, we embark on a deep-dive energy healing session—usually conducted virtually, which allows me to connect with clients from anywhere in the world. This transformative session combines intuitive counseling, crystal, and Reiki energy healing and culminates in an oracle card reading, where the real magic begins.
Together, we interpret the insights and messages from our session to design a custom talisman piece of jewelry. Using precious metals and gemstones, we create a collaborative work of art that reflects the client’s life journey and desires. While many clients appreciate this holistic process, I also welcome those ready to dive straight into the design, as it’s a true honor to craft something uniquely for them.
In addition to talisman creation, I offer crystal-infused energy healing sessions, allowing clients to explore their inner landscapes further. With over 20 years of experience as a Reiki intuitive healer and healing movement practitioner, my journey began with the Nia technique in 2003 and has evolved into my own practice, “chakra shaking.” I teach daily classes and incorporate this joyful movement into larger group experiences.
I also facilitate a Witness Circle where women can tap into their intuition and learn the sacred art of listening to others’ stories without absorbing their trauma. My ultimate vision involves designing retreats worldwide, guiding women from these circles into exploration, creativity, and play in exquisite locations. In March 2025, I’ll co-lead a retreat in Mexico at a beautiful sacred space where monarch butterflies gather during their migration south. The chance to dance among 400 million monarchs inspired me to create a unique talisman for all participants to take home. This retreat will serve as a launching point, inviting clients to embark on their own transformative journeys in the future.
You’ve worked with clients worldwide, from China to the Netherlands. How do you maintain a deep, personal connection with clients across such diverse cultures and spiritual backgrounds?
Doing the kind of work I do is all about having an open mind and an open heart. I enjoy inviting diversity into my practice and learning how others think and feel. It’s fascinating to understand different cultures and the stories that are important to them. I believe this accepting approach attracts the clients who are meant to work with me.
I also see everything as energy—we all vibrate at our own frequencies. It’s like there’s a bright signal in the universe guiding the right clients to me and me to them. Once I make that connection, I love to check in and see how they’re doing. Keeping that relationship alive is valuable to me.
Through active listening and being sensitive to their backgrounds, I create a safe space for exploration and healing. It’s in this relaxed environment that we can truly connect, and that’s where the real magic happens—where our stories weave together into something beautiful.
Your connection to angels, guides, and loved ones on the other side plays a significant role in your work. What do these spiritual communications bring to your healing sessions, and how do they guide your process?
My connection to the other side began in childhood. I believe children are naturally open to energy, but around age seven, as we start to develop consciousness and face societal rules, we often shut down that magical part of ourselves. Those moments of intuition or déjà vu? They’re sparks that connect us to our true, magical selves.
For me, that connection never completely faded. While I sometimes chose not to listen, embracing my gifts and sharing them has only strengthened it. I’ve learned that spirit often has its own agenda. When we desperately seek answers, we can block ourselves from receiving them, getting stuck in a vibration of fear rather than embracing the flow of exploration.
I encourage my clients and myself to let spirit communicate in whatever way feels right. Sometimes I receive images; other times, messages come through songs or specific phrases. I’ve had many moments of validation where my words resonate deeply with clients, echoing sentiments from loved ones or revealing details they’ve never shared.
I like to think of it as being a musician: if my thoughts are in the key of C, I can identify specific notes, like C sharp, in my mind. It’s as if there’s a place where I can push through my thoughts to access messages from spirit.
Ultimately, having faith in something greater than ourselves is essential. We’re here to connect and collaborate for the highest good, and the messages that come through are rooted in love. These sessions validate clients, reminding them they are never alone. No matter how life unfolds, a whole team supports them, eager to help them grow, learn, and thrive.
How does your natural surroundings inspire or enhance your healing and creative practices?
I feel incredibly blessed to live at the edge of a river with a nest of eagles in my backyard. The Atlantic Ocean is just a short drive away, and the mountains call to me, providing endless inspiration. The natural world isn’t just a source of energy for me; it’s essential, especially as we navigate a reality increasingly driven by distractions from phones and technology.
One of my deepest passions is crystals. I became a certified crystal guide three years ago, adding a rich layer to my Reiki healing practice and talisman jewelry. This journey deepened my relationship with Mother Earth and heightened my respect for the planet. Crystals are the physical manifestation of transformation—they transition from liquid and gas to stunning solid forms that we can use for healing and manifesting our desires.
I continue to explore the intelligence and energy of crystals, which seem eager to collaborate with us. I surround myself with these beautiful gifts even when I’m not at the ocean or hiking a trail to keep nature close.
I integrate crystal healing into every aspect of my work. I guide clients on how to clear, cleanse, charge, and set intentions with their crystals. I help them infuse their desires into their talismans, create crystal grids to assist on their journeys, and lead meditation classes designed for those who find it challenging to sit still. These little gemstones not only enhance the healing process but also act as accountability partners, encouraging clients to take the necessary time for themselves and their whole body health.
