In her recent interview with MysticMag, Bree Mutch shared the inspiring story behind The Reiki Nook, a sanctuary born from her personal journey of overcoming anxiety and trauma.
Driven by a desire to support her neurodivergent son and help others find balance, Bree founded The Reiki Nook to offer a space for healing through Reiki and energy-based modalities. The core mission is to empower individuals to release blockages and restore harmony in their lives, with a focus on personalized, compassionate support.
Through a blend of traditional and modern techniques, The Reiki Nook provides a comprehensive approach to well-being, as highlighted in her conversation with MysticMag.
What inspired the creation of The Reiki Nook and what is its core mission?
The Reiki Nook was primarily born from my own need for self-healing after years of living with anxiety and trauma. I also wanted to support my son, who is neurodivergent, in finding calm and balance. These personal experiences led me to explore Reiki and other energy-based healing modalities, which ultimately inspired me to create a space where others could also find relief and healing.
The core mission of The Reiki Nook is to support individuals in releasing energetic blockages, restoring balance, and empowering them on their personal journeys toward healing and well-being. I want them to feel seen, to feel heard, and to feel supported.
How does The Reiki Nook support individuals in their healing and wellness journeys?
The Reiki Nook provides a safe and compassionate space for individuals to explore their personal healing. Through Reiki sessions, Feng Shui consultations, community tea meditation & reiki classes, and energy-based techniques like The Body Code, we help clients identify and release what no longer serves them.
Whether it’s clearing emotional blockages, improving physical well-being, or providing clarity in life’s direction, we support our clients with a personalized approach, ensuring they feel heard and supported every step of the way.
Can you tell us more about the unique Reiki services or techniques offered by The Reiki Nook and what sets it apart from other Reiki practices?
At The Reiki Nook, we blend traditional Usui Reiki with more modern energy-healing modalities, including The Emotion Code and The Belief Code. This combination allows us to get to the root of emotional or physical distress and address it from multiple angles.
We also offer specialized services like cord-cutting, soul retrievals, and Feng Shui consultations, which go beyond typical Reiki sessions, offering deeper healing for the environment and personal energy. This 360 approach ensures no area of our client’s lives is missed, helping to restore balance and harmony to not just their lives, but also their families.
Can you share a success story where The Reiki Nook significantly impacted a client’s healing process?
One of our clients came to The Reiki Nook struggling with chronic fatigue and emotional overwhelm. Through a combination of Reiki, The Body Code, and Feng Shui adjustments in their home, we were able to help them release years of emotional baggage and shift the energy in their living space.
Within a few months, they reported feeling lighter, more energized, and able to focus better at work and in their personal life. It was a profound transformation for them, and seeing their progress was incredibly rewarding.
How does The Reiki Nook integrate traditional Reiki practices with modern wellness approaches?
We honor the roots of traditional Usui Reiki but understand that wellness today may also require a more integrative approach. By combining Reiki with modern energy-healing systems like The Body Code system or Chinese Metaphysics, we create a full spectrum healing experience.
Clients can not only release energy blockages during Reiki but also gain insight into their personal destinies, life patterns, and environments, allowing for a more holistic wellness experience that incorporates both ancient wisdom and modern techniques.
What new services or offerings is The Reiki Nook planning to introduce?
We’re excited to introduce Qigong classes at the end of the year, which will give clients a movement-based approach to releasing tension (stagnant energies) and balancing their energy.
We’re also reopening our books for Feng Shui consultations in November, with new insights gained from advanced training. In addition, we’ll be opening Brigid’s Teahouse, where we will incorporate the five nature elements through teas, to deepen the connection between mind, body, and nature. These new offerings will allow us to continue expanding how we support our clients in their wellness journeys.
