In this Mystic Mag‘s interview, we delve into the mind of Ronnie Ann Ryan to uncover how she combines intuition with business acumen to help others achieve clarity and success.
You’ve had an incredible journey from brand marketing at General Foods to becoming a successful business intuitive. How did your corporate background influence your approach to intuitive guidance and entrepreneurship?
Working at General Foods and rising to the top of my career path in seven years allowed me to work side by side with world-class marketers. This was an outstanding education, providing a solid foundation for being an entrepreneur. I’ve had my own business ever since.
During that time, my intuition helped me come up with creative solutions for marketing. The best example is when I participated in a brainstorming session with 25 staff members. Everyone had to contribute ideas for the brand’s next TV commercials. Out of nearly 100 ideas, the top brand executive chose my two concepts which were the only two produced.
This is also when I became a seeker, taking classes on many spiritual topics with intuition as the focus. I studied a variety of psychic methods including shamanism and psychometry, past lives, Reiki, and more.
Your podcast “Breathe Love & Magic” blends practical advice with spiritual insights. How do you balance the pragmatic with the mystical in your work, and why do you think this combination resonates with your audience?
I am very practical and down-to-earth, which drives my intuitive work. That’s why I use my intuitive gifts to look for practical solutions to life and business challenges rather than gathering esoteric knowledge. My aim is to share keen insights, so listeners and clients can get unstuck, overcome obstacles, and move forward with greater ease to achieve personal and professional goals.
Discovering what works can be life changing and this is a big part of the podcast’s reason for being. That’s why I share my own experiences and what I have found useful. It’s also why I bring on expert guests to share their wisdom, tools, and methods.
What type of services do you offer?
I offer a four services including:
- Intuitive Coaching. Using my intuition provides insights from a higher level for clients. I also help them develop their own inner wisdom. As someone who offers past life and Akashic Records readings, how do you see these spiritual tools impacting the decision-making processes of your clients, particularly in the business realm?
After you do all the due diligence, sometimes you still can’t decide what to do. That’s when intuition can have a huge impact on making the right choice. Your inner knowing will guide you once you know how to tap into it.
Learning about past lives provides a deeper level of understanding about what makes you tick. I often connect with spirit guides and higher realms for business guidance and understanding and do get specific, concrete action steps for people to follow.
I’ve channeled my clients’ spiritual team of business advisors which has been invaluable. Occasionally, we investigate past lives for a higher view of blocks and challenges when nothing else seems to move the dial.
Creativity seems to be a driving force in your life, from painting to jewelry making. How do these creative outlets influence your work as a business intuitive and entrepreneur?
I love variety which is why I enjoy a range of creative activities. For me, making jewelry, painting, and art journaling are ways to channel my energy and have something beautiful to show for it. When looking for solutions, taking my mind off the situation frees up my mind. In the flow of creativity, answers come more easily because I’m no longer overthinking. In addition, focusing on a creative project improves my productivity.
Your direct and no-nonsense style is appreciated by your clients. Can you share a moment when your candid advice made a significant impact on a client’s business or personal life?
One thing I’m really good at is getting to the heart of the matter quickly. I had a client who is a scientist and wanted to know about a specific connection to another scientist from history she felt tied to. As we dug deeper, I asked why she needed that information and what she really wanted to know.
The bottom line was that she felt unworthy and was seeking external validation through this past life connection. Spirit did not divulge the information. However, they explained this connection was purely a distraction and that working on her self-worth was the key to feeling good about her work, her prospects, and herself.
As Albert Einstein said, “All great achievements of science must start from intuitive knowledge.” My client let go and felt free from the need to explore the past life that had kept her going in circles for too long. She also agreed to learn to meditate and use her intuition to improve her work.
Another client wanted to buy a new home in the same town. She had her heart set on moving but her husband was unsupportive. This hurt her because she had a strong desire for something new, even though there was nothing wrong with her home or decor.
Looking into this more deeply uncovered a feeling of stagnation about her life. Being a retired homebody, she left the house to walk, go to exercise classes, shop, and see family. Occasionally she got together with girlfriends, but her life was simple, and she liked it that way. Yet, she felt unsatisfied and wanted more. Buying a home would give her lots of new things to do.
What came to light was that she yearned to grow, which required getting out of her comfort zone. She made a list of things she had thought of checking into but never got around to it. Her interests included herbology, drawing class, or a women’s hiking retreat. These ideas uplifted her and created a sense of optimism. She realized she could always move at some point, but what became clear was that she had other choices for adventure that she could explore first.
