The Healing Frequency of Wuji - Stan Pannone

The Healing Frequency of Wuji - Stan Pannone

MysticMag chats with Stan Pannone, a 14th Generation Emei Qigong Master, who has dedicated his life to harnessing the transformative power of Emei Qigong for personal and communal healing. His journey began with a deep commitment to Transcendental Meditation and evolved through various disciplines, including martial arts and yoga, before discovering the profound effects of Qigong in 2006. Trained under esteemed masters and certified as a sound healer, Stan integrates his extensive experience in Eastern healing practices to guide others in achieving balance and wellness through Emei Qigong.

Stan, can you share your experience training with Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong in Beijing and how it has influenced your approach to Emei Qigong?

I began my Qigong journey in 2006, learning from some exceptional Qigong Masters. This foundational experience paved the way for me to travel to China in 2014, where I had the privilege of studying under Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong, the 13th Lineage Holder of Emei Qigong.  Training with him was unparalleled.

Our training schedule was intense – we practiced for 20 days straight, with just one day to rest. During this time, we went deep into the world of ancient Chinese culture and philosophy, uncovering the rich roots of Emei Qigong.

I discovered how this healing art developed over centuries, blending traditional wisdom with practical techniques. Each day brought new insights, connecting me to the long history and profound principles behind the practice I had come to love.

I still reference many of these teachings on the time that I spent with him on that trip to China. Learning this art in Grandmaster’s element was a valued experience.

This experience deepened my practice, instilling in me a profound trust in the process and a commitment to following the “Qi.”

How does the Emei Qigong system utilize “qi” to address energy blockages and improve overall well-being?

Emei Qigong employs various methods to clear energy blockages and improve overall health by utilizing “qi” or life energy. The system includes basic practices such as Wuji Gong, the 18 Methods Form, and the Standing Form, which help maintain a healthy qi flow for many practitioners.

For more targeted healing, Emei Qigong offers micro-training techniques that focus on specific organs or body areas to treat illnesses.

This healing system also incorporates advanced practices, like the Level 3 Practice, which is a heart-centered approach addressing the mental aspects of energy clearing.

Emei Qigong recognizes the strong mind-body connection, understanding that many illnesses originate in the mind and can cause blocked energy. Emotional issues such as trauma, stress, fear, and anger can create disruptive energy in the body, which, if not cleared, may lead to physical illness.

By utilizing the Emei Qigong Healing System, Qigong cultivators keep “Qi” flowing smoothly, addressing both the physical and emotional aspects of well-being.

What are the key benefits of practicing the Wuji Gong form, and how does it help individuals connect with the healing frequency of universal energy?

Wuji Gong is the foundational practice in Emei Qigong, combining form with formless meditation. It includes aspects of both still and moving Qigong.

Energy System Activation: The form part of Wuji Gong involves specific movements that engage and open the body’s major energy centers called Gates and Dantians and their associated meridians (energy pathways). The opening of these energy centers helps to clear blockages and improve energy flow throughout the body.

Connection to Universal Energy: By opening these energy pathways, practitioners can easily connect with what’s known as Universal energy or Wuji. This connection is a source of healing and rejuvenation.

Achieving the Wuji State: Through regular practice, individuals can reach the Wuji state – sometimes referred to as “true empty.” In this state, the mind becomes clear and calm, and one feels a strong connection to the universe. This promotes the body’s innate healing abilities and induces a state of deep relaxation.

Profound Relaxation and Healing: The combination of physical movement, natural breathing, visualization, and the meditative states in Wuji Gong promotes deep relaxation. This relaxation, coupled with improved energy flow, enhances the body’s natural healing abilities.

Developing Intuition and Latent Abilities:
Emei Qigong believes that all knowledge is in the universe. By practicing Wuji Gong often, you can start to access this knowledge. This helps you develop intuition and latent abilities.

How can someone new to qigong start incorporating Emei Qigong practices into their daily routine, and what initial steps would you recommend?

Step one: Start by taking a class
To begin your journey with Emei Qigong, we offer online classes that are easily accessible through Zoom. We host four classes each week, which rotate through the main Emei Qigong forms, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

These classes go beyond just teaching the forms; they also introduce you to essential Emei Qigong practices such as Chan Meditation, the Sacred Healing Sounds and Healing Mantra, the Grounding Meditation, and the principles of Sound Healing.

Additionally, you’ll gain an understanding of the 5 Element Theory and its practical applications. This well-rounded approach provides you with the knowledge and skills to establish your own daily Qigong routine at home once you’ve experienced the classes.

For those seeking to deepen their practice further, we offer advanced training options. We also provide personal Emei Qigong training sessions for individuals who prefer one-on-one instruction or have specific learning needs.

Can you discuss the importance of maintaining a smooth flow of qi in the body and how Emei Qigong methods support this process to enhance physical, emotional, and spiritual health?

Life can be quite different when your “Qi” (life energy) flows freely and healthily. In our modern world, constant stressors can gradually deplete our energy, making it crucial to nurture ourselves both physically and spiritually.

Emei Qigong offers a path to connect with our true nature of love and compassion, beginning with self-kindness. Through regular practice, subtle changes often emerge.  You may find yourself less easily upset, more patient, and generally calmer.

This newfound tranquility helps shift your focus to the present moment, reducing worry about the past or future. Over time, these small shifts lead to significant improvements in physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual life.

A key advantage of Qigong is its non-competitive nature, allowing you to practice at your own pace and gradually incorporate it into your routine, meeting you wherever you are in life. With consistent practice, the long-term benefits can be life-changing.

As Stan Pannone, 14th Generation Emei Qigong Master and a Disciple of Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong, emphasizes these positive changes unfold gradually but steadily through dedicated practice.
