When did you first know that being a Holistic Therapist was your calling and how did it come about?
I was a recipient of reiki energy healing in college and then went on to get training for Levels 1, 2, and 3. I was studying psychology in undergrad and started to become more interested in pursuing a degree in some type of counseling and did a senior thesis on the mind-body connection and the importance of integrating into the mental health world. I always viewed my work through this holistic lense and still continue to do so.
What services do you offer?
I offer individual and group therapy as well as individual and dating coaching programs as well, I also offer training and lectures to other professionals on the mind-body connection, energy healing, mindfulness, and burnout prevention.
How does meditation affect one’s body and mind?
It helps to regulate the nervous system and helps to connect our body and mind. It helps to also create new neuropathways that can heal trauma and increase our window of tolerance.
What are some of the best pieces of advice you can give a millennial woman for finding true love?
Get clear on your values, needs, and goals in the dating process as well as doing the work to understand your own blindspots and blocks that are getting in the way. I also recommend exploring barriers to change and learning how to regulate challenging emotions like loneliness or uncertainty. It is also important to have reliable mentors and role models as well as a supportive community of like-minded people. This is one reason I have created a women’s group for dating
What can a person expect from your sessions?
An individualized tailored approach with practical and useful tools to create change, but also helping to identify, access, heal, and work through the unconscious blocks and limiting beliefs keeping us stuck. I take a holistic and integrative approach utilizing somatic mind-body practices as well as spiritual and visualization techniques.
What do you love most about your profession?
I love being able to whiteness the magic of people healing before my eyes and seeing them connect the dots and create insight, awareness, and meaningful change in life and relationships.
