Who is Zoe-Anna Bell? Can you share a few details about your professional journey?
My professional journey has been a remarkable odyssey rooted in my own quest for personal healing. Growing up within a Western medical background, with my father serving as the local General Practitioner and my mother trained as a creative dance teacher, I initially pursued a career in nursing. Despite the seemingly natural trajectory, I found myself discontent within a system that didn’t resonate with me. Drawn to alternative healing methods and Eastern teachings, I embarked on a transformative journey, exploring practices like Yoga, Pilates, and Meditation. In 2017, my 26-year nursing career came to a close.
You say that the self-explorative & healing journey begins with the body. Can you please elaborate on that?
I emphasize that the self-explorative and healing journey commences with the body, as it holds a profound narrative. Within the body’s tissues, patterns, programs, trauma, and emotions are stored, creating a protective armor over time. I liken this process to peeling layers of an onion, gradually unveiling and releasing emotions. Starting with the tangible physical body is crucial, as it provides a foundation for exploring deeper emotional and energetic layers.
What bodywork services do you offer?
I offer a unique blend of bodywork services aimed at holistic healing. One of my signature modalities is the Shamanic De-armouring massage, a transformative process that involves moving individuals through various body positions, incorporating stretching, movement, and acupressure points. This approach removes accumulated layers, facilitating emotional release and healing.
In addition to Shamanic De-armouring, I utilize Yoga as a bodywork modality, guiding individuals to move freely, incorporating breath and pranic energy. As an accomplished author, I have written and published six books. My journey began with “The Adventures of Pinky Fairway,” a raw and innocent expression of my own story. My subsequent works include “Raw,” a collection of 81 poems on passion and consciousness, and “Completeness: A Doorway to Love,” focusing on healing the inner child. The trilogy, consisting of “Breaking Free,” “Wildflower,” and “Soul Codes,” represents a profound rewrite of my initial memoir, offering guidance on breaking free from suffocation, embracing the sacred feminine, and unlocking the gifts within.
