Can you provide a brief overview of the range of services you offer, from astrology and Tarot readings to Reiki, hypnotherapy, and life coaching?
Personally, I provide Tarot and Astrology with a bit of psychic and mediumship tossed in from time to time. The other readers in our center provide a plethora of services including Reiki, Past Life Regression, Palmistry, Numerology Hypnotherapy, and more.
How do you integrate astrology, Tarot, psychics, and mediumship readings into your holistic approach, and how do these elements complement each other?
Depending on what the client requests, I usually don’t mix a Tarot and an Astrology chart although they complement each other well. And in a way, I do mix them. I use an astrological wheel layout with each card falling in one of the twelve houses of the circle and a thirteenth card in the center of the wheel. When I sit down with a client who is new to reading with me, I explain that each card falls in a position that correlates with an area of his or her life. The card placed in this position acts as a psychic key to unlock the door to my psychic subconscious and deliver the message that the client needs to hear.
The cards integrate to tell a story about the client’s life and their situation along with future events that they need to know about, hidden issues, and past events that are relevant to their lives today. Sometimes, but not always I will have a flash of psychic insight over and above the information that I’m gleaning from the cards/houses themselves that I deliver as I read the cards.
From time to time a deceased loved one will appear, usually standing slightly behind the client and either to the left or to the right shoulder. Occasionally this deceased person will have a profound message or give a piece of information that the client has been seeking the answer to.
If I am booked for an astrological reading, I seldom incorporate Tarot because the planets in the houses will give the answer to the questions at hand. With astrology, you can see different things than you get with a Tarot reading. I tell my clients that astrology is like your instruction manual and wiring schematic plus how to program the “computer” of life and what programs it came equipped with, for example, if it’s an Apple or a PC and if it has MS Office or if it came equipped with a Cad program like builders and architects use or hundreds of thousands of other types of programs.
When I look at an astrological chart, it will quickly tell the talents, abilities, preferences, challenges, fears, and life path that the individual chose before birth to come into this life to fulfill that purpose. People often follow a road map for their life that was dictated by their parents, teachers or other highly influential individuals or organizations led them to. Sometimes people are so mixed up or lost in their lives that when I begin to read their chart I will hear “That’s not me”.
I’m not an artist, I work in a corporate job.” As we continue with the reading, if they will uncross their arms and legs and relax and listen, they discover that I am digging into their true nature. That corporate job is often very unfulfilling and the individual is longing for happiness and fulfillment. Their chart will always show how they have been trapped either long or short-term, depending on the transiting planets in a life that is not giving them what they need. This goes for love relationships, finances, friendships, and family relationships as well. The chart also tells how to extricate oneself from the uncomfortable lifestyle or career and find joy and where to find it.
Can you share how you tailor your approach to each client’s unique needs when combining services like Reiki and hypnotherapy with astrological or psychic insights?
I believe that the answers to this question are given in the above paragraph. Sometimes the astrology chart will show some deep-seated psychological issue that needs to be dealt with. This could include being abused as a child, dealing with narcissistic family members, and having been programmed by adults that the client “will never amount to anything” (self-worth issues).
There are dozens upon dozens of other issues that can be helped by hypnotherapy. While I do have a certification in hypnotherapy, I do not practice but refer to other members of our team who have this as their specialty. I also hold a Reiki Master attunement, but I do not practice except occasionally for friends or family on a very limited basis.
What ethical considerations do you take into account when offering psychic or mediumship readings, and how do you ensure a supportive and respectful environment for your clients?
I believe these are two questions. First of all ethical considerations involve being considerate of the age and psychological condition of the client. For example, I would not ever want to give a teenager the same reading that I would give someone who has life experience.I would also need to know my client’s support system before giving information on upcoming life changes.A good example of this is death and divorce.
We have a psychic fair at our center and I conduct an orientation for all the new new applicants. We do this twice annually and I explain, in depth what is and what is not appropriate to talk about in a psychic fair reading. Keep in mind that these readings are 20 minutes long and there are 12 psychics and 12 clients in the room at any given time.
This puts the client in a room full of strangers. While I encourage them to be honest and forthright, I also warn about predicting devastating events. In 20 minutes there is not the time to give that kind of information in a professional and caring way and to be able to talk the client through the prediction. There are phrases like, “Have you had a physical lately” It might be a good time to get a check-up.” perhaps if someone is asking if their spouse is cheating respond with the answer “I’m sure you aren’t just asking this question out of random curiosity. It seems that you feel that you have a reason to be suspicious. Always be gentle, be honest, and don’t cause harm with anything you tell a client.
Our regular readings are conducted in a private office. In this surrounding more information and deeper information can be safely discussed. We have five offices, a Reiki healing room, and a hypnotherapy room. The offices are upstairs above our store and are extremely private. Each is decorated in such a way as to engender a sense of peace and mysticism. The Reiki healing room has a massage table with blankets available.
There is low lighting to encourage relaxation. The hypnotherapy office has a reclining chair and light-blocking curtains. It is away from the other parts of the building so that it will not have sound intrusion. We also offer a program that involves using headsets with Binaural beats and a hypnotherapy or meditation program for decompression and for personal transformational programming. This is also available in the hypnotherapy room as well as past life regression Neuro Linguistic Programming and a number of sub-modalities of hypnotherapy.
Could you provide an example of a client success story where the integration of multiple services led to a positive transformation or breakthrough in their life?
I could give you a number of instances in which someone came into a psychic fair to get a 20-minute reading, ended up scheduling a private appointment for Tarot, and was referred to one of our astrologers for deeper insights on life path or other matters than was referred by the astrologer (often me) to have hypnotherapy to help remove their blocks to being successful in either business, relationships or even in their own life.
I had a client that I used to read Tarot for, usually about one bad relationship or another. She decided to have an astrological reading to help her see why she kept on attracting the same bad relationship with a different face over and over. I saw it in her chart.
I recommended that she try looking for someone who was not “her type” since that type was in the area that is governed by boyfriends etc. and look at the type of a man whose description was found in the area of her chart that governed “husband partner”. Two years later she still had not changed her “type”. I referred her for hypnotherapy so that she could find the subconscious reason that she played out the bad boy/victim relationships.
She had hypnotherapy and found that the bad boy type was ingrained by watching that type of movie when she was a teen and pre-teenager. Her astrological chart supported the idea that this was “romantic” so she could not consciously make the shift to “husband material”. The hypnotherapy session helped her to see how this played out in her life and how a man who was “husband material” could be a wonderful change. She soon met someone and last I heard, she was still with him and having fun.
