Meet Eric Webster, a Lifestyle Engineer hailing from Grand Rapids, MI, who has transitioned from a lifetime in business to a full-time spiritual practice. In this interview, he shares insights into his journey, discussing hypnotherapy, Akashic Record readings, and the transformative power of past life regression. MysticMag has the pleasure.
Who is Eric Webster? What can you tell me about yourself and your professional journey?
I’m Eric Webster from Grand Rapids, MI. After a lifetime in business, I now work full-time in my spiritual practice. I work with clients using hypnotherapy for a wide array of situations. I also work in the Akashic Record and deliver channeled messages for my clients from the “record keepers”. I believe that the record keepers are likely my clients, guides, and angels. The messages are a channeled free flow of information that comes out of the history of their soul, all lifetimes past, present, and future.
What does it mean to be a Lifestyle Engineer?
Lifestyle Engineer is the title I hold with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council of the UK. I think it’s an appropriate moniker for everything that I do. I’m helping people to re-engineer their lives, look at the basis of challenges and holdbacks they are facing in their life, and then helping them to re-engineer, setting them free to live as a higher, more powerful version of who they came here to be.
What is the process of reading Akashic records and what information can you get in that way?
Reading an Akashic Record is a sacred process for me. With the client’s permission, I read a prayer that grants me access. As I’m reading the prayer, I generally get a download of information to begin the process.
Overall, the reading can contain information about physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional things in their lives. It can be about past life issues that may need some attention in this lifetime. Oftentimes, there will be a conversation about people in their current life who have played significant roles in prior lifetimes. This can be in the form of mediumship, with souls of significance showing up with information.
My newest expansion seems to be in the area of animal communication. I live on a farm with horses, donkeys, goats, and barn cats, as well as dogs, a cat, and a parrot at the house. There’s a large contingent of animals that have crossed over that are now showing up and helping me to develop that level of communication. I’m really excited to reconnect with each of them, and for a new level of communication I can share with my clients.
Can you walk me through a past life regression session?
I’ve mentioned past life regression and there are a couple of couple of different ways in which I can help people visit prior lives. One is in an Akashic Record Reading. Many times, information that is germane for this lifetime also connects with people who are currently in their life. In that light, how those have played out in prior lifetimes can come through, too.
I also do hypnotherapy based past life regression. That often takes a couple of different tracks. Sometimes it is actually going to the Akashic Record “Library” in a hypnotic state where the record keepers will pull volumes off the shelves and open them up. From what clients have shared with me after the fact, once those books are opened by the record keeper, words, phrases, and paragraphs jump up, drawing attention to themselves.
The second, and it depends on where Spirit leads me, is taking them back as observers to various lifetimes that they’ve lived. It’s always as an observer, as I don’t want people to go back into some horrific event in that lifetime that could traumatize them in this lifetime.
Regression sessions are recorded and I take notes during the session, which I share with the client after the fact. Most people have a fairly good recall of everything that they’ve seen and heard. The feedback I get is that it’s incredibly instructive and powerful in helping them on their journey.
That, in a nutshell, is what I’m about. I’m about helping people on their journey. I’m helping them eliminate old programming from loved ones – parents, teachers, priests, ministers, partners, siblings, etc.
We have an awful lot of programming that is no longer or never was valid in our lives. I help people break that down and eliminate it. It involves a lot of confirmation of what the people already know or suspect that they know. Sometimes there’s also a level of instruction in terms of some meditations or actions that they could take that’s going to help them get out of their own way to be able to allow them to accept who they are, to embrace it, to love the person that they are, and to unfold in whatever way they have scripted for their own life.

With the work I do, I am able to draw on my life experiences, put to use skills I’ve honed as a Reiki Master, tap into the Universal Wisdom of the Akashic Record and when called for use Hypnosis to have a powerful impact on the lives of my clients.
I absolutely love that after a lifetime in business, I’m at a place where I’m doing the work that I’m here to do. I truly do believe that this is the sum total of every experience I’ve had. Each of them comes into play in creating this version of me and allows me to be able to be impactful and helpful in people’s lives.
