Could you provide an overview of what Human Design is and how it combines elements of astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, and other esoteric traditions?
Human design is a synthesis of ancient teachings, including astrology, the I Ching, and Kabbalah, along with modern elements. It originated as a download to Ra, who drew it out based on instructions from what he called “The Voice”.
The Voice directed the placement of 64 archetypes from the I Ching into the astrological signs, forming a mandala. The Hindu chakra system was incorporated with nine centers instead of seven, connected by lines reminiscent of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Human design also integrates quantum physics and epigenetics, revealing connections to DNA.
Your journey into human design began in 2016 and evolved from being a casual experimenter to an obsession. What were the key insights or moments that made you deeply connected to this system?
In 2016, upon discovering I was a rare “projector” energy type, I delved into human design but found some aspects challenging to accept. Over time, life events and struggles prompted a deeper exploration.
Understanding my daughter’s design was a turning point, realizing I had misunderstood her. Human design offered a way to identify what wasn’t working and provided tools for positive change, leading to a continuous journey of learning.
How does one’s Human Design chart, which consists of symbols and shapes, help in understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and life purpose?
Human design operates on a binary system, activating archetypal energies with both positive and negative expressions. Recognizing oneself in the negative allows a shift towards the positive. It serves as a guide, showing where to focus for personal growth and fulfillment.
What can individuals expect from Discovery calls, and how do you guide them in using Human Design to lead more fulfilling lives?
In discovery calls, we discuss areas causing confusion or pain. I use my knowledge, life experiences, and intuition to pinpoint where to look in the chart. The call sets the direction for working together, emphasizing that human design is a tool for self-discovery and empowerment.
Can you share a specific example of transformation that resulted from aligning with one’s design?
Certainly. Aligning with my Incarnation Cross, the left-angle cross of uncertainty, transformed my perspective. Instead of seeking control, I learned to embrace uncertainty, viewing challenges as opportunities for growth. This shift empowered me to navigate life with a positive outlook, turning struggles into valuable lessons.
What do you love most about your profession?
I love the uncertainty and the gift of each new day. Human design teaches that every experience, whether perceived as good or bad, holds potential gifts. Helping people see the positive in their pain without dishonoring their struggles is incredibly fulfilling.
