Aubrey, your journey from a corporate job to holistic wellness is truly fascinating. Could you please share insights into how this transition has influenced your approach to emotional and energetic healing for women?
I realized I was miserable and decided to take action. Even in my early twenties, I understood that enduring the daily misery of a soul-draining corporate job was not a sustainable or desirable path. Switching careers without prior experience was scary, and the prospect of an uncertain income was terrifying. However, I recognized that my happiness and satisfaction were paramount, forming the foundation of my approach to emotional and energetic healing.
Recognizing one’s unhappiness or desire for change is a significant first step that not everyone is ready to take. Understanding that certain health issues may be linked to a lack of alignment with one’s true self and desires can be life-changing. Taking action, however, is a different challenge. Many women become entrenched in their beliefs, feeling they must endure their current situations. It saddens me to witness this, as life is meant to be experienced and enjoyed. I am not suggesting that life lacks challenges, but settling for the sake of comfort or certainty limits the potential for the desired life experience.
My ultimate goal in all emotional and energetic work is to help women recognize their worth and deservingness of a life they desire, by clearing their limiting beliefs and emotional baggage.
You mentioned rebalancing the energetic body system as a core part of your work. How does this process contribute to improving overall well-being, and what are the key principles underlying it?
People are holistic beings, comprising mind, body, and an interconnected energy system. Traditional health approaches often address only specific symptoms in isolation, which can work for a while but fall short in the long run. Recognizing the interplay between these elements is crucial. We adopt a holistic approach that considers individuals as a whole, with interconnected systems influencing one another.
Comprehensive evaluation is essential to gather information about clients’ overall well-being. We examine various factors, including nutrition, hydration, eating habits, stress, sleep, supplements, mindfulness, and physical activity. This information helps us create a tailored wellness plan to restore balance.
Setting and tracking goals is crucial. Clients actively participate in their journey, and plans are customized to meet their individual needs. Regular reevaluations ensure progress is being made.
Commitment is vital. Progress and change cannot occur without dedication. Clients must say “yes” to themselves, their health, and the life they desire. The healing journey can be challenging, especially when addressing multiple aspects of health. It’s essential for potential clients to acknowledge this and commit when they are mentally prepared.
Support takes various forms, including access to me, regular sessions, additional education, reevaluations, community support, and collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
Your personal experiences, such as body image issues and emotional eating, have significantly shaped your path. How have these experiences influenced your approach to helping others on their healing journeys?
Having personally endured years of inner turmoil enables me to connect with clients on a deep, authentic level. I understand the challenges of self-love struggles and emotional eating. Through my own healing journey, I’ve gained the experience and knowledge to support other women facing similar challenges.
Sharing my experiences allows clients to feel seen, heard, and validated. Healing is more effective when supported with compassion rather than judgment. Listening to clients is a top priority, helping them realize they matter, their stories are important, and that we both share a common goal of optimal health. By sharing our stories, we discover our commonality, fostering a sense of normality and connection instead of shame and isolation.
Your bio mentions studying diverse fields like eating psychology and bioenergetics. How do these disciplines integrate into your work, and what do they offer to your clients?
Combining various disciplines enriches my approach to whole-person wellness. My foundation in the physical body, nutrition, and energy medicine, as well as education in psychological aspects of eating, yoga, and somatic therapy, prepares me for a holistic understanding of bioenergetics.
Bioenergetics, in my view, represents a system of alternative physical and psychological modalities that transform blocked energy to aid physical and mental healing. We focus on the interconnectedness of the mind and body, addressing the whole person.
Clients benefit from evaluations that consider all aspects of their being, such as the physical, mental, and emotional layers. We scan their energetic fields for imbalances, identify client goals, and formulate a wellness plan. The plan may involve addressing their primary concern, behavior modifications, nutrition assessment, emotional release, or subconscious reprogramming, tailored to the client’s needs.
Throughout this process, we educate clients about the mind-body connection and address the root causes of their issues. While I advocate having a healthcare team, my approach allows clients to address various facets of health without seeing multiple practitioners.
Could you explain the difference between in-person and virtual sessions, and what clients can expect when working with you one-on-one or through your programs?
In-person and virtual sessions are similar at this time. The effectiveness of the work is not influenced by location, as energy transcends time and space. However, in-person clients have access to certain physical experiences that virtual clients may not unless they have the required resources at home. In-person clients enjoy more touch points, additional support for their nervous system, and a spa-like atmosphere.
Most bioresonant scans can be conducted remotely, although one specific scan must be done in person. Nevertheless, both in-person and virtual sessions encompass education, troubleshooting, and meaningful conversations.
One-on-one sessions are entirely based on the client’s needs and goals, which are regularly evaluated. The modalities used depend on the client’s unique experiences and suitability at a given time.
Programs include a community component, additional access to me, and an overarching theme. However, the program’s structure varies for each client, based on their individual needs, while the process remains consistent.
What do you enjoy most about your profession?
What I love most is witnessing the growth of my clients. When they have those “aha” moments during sessions, it’s like watching puzzle pieces fall into place. Celebrating with them when they text or email about their realizations is truly rewarding. Observing individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves, cultivate self-awareness, and feel empowered to live the life they desire is incredibly fulfilling. It’s a joy to see people flourish and thrive!
