How would you describe the core principles and practices of Reiki as a form of energy healing?
I believe we are spiritual, energetic beings having a human experience. It’s all about vibration. In our busy lives, we tend to spend a lot of time up in our heads being driven by our minds. Reiki allows or rather reminds us that we are more than our minds. When sit still, focus inwardly, and connect through our hearts we remember our connection to the greater universal energy. That we are abundant beings capable of healing and expanding into more health, wealth, and happiness.
Can you share a significant example of how intuitive healing has positively impacted a client’s well-being?
I have been holding sacred space for women for over 20 years. I love and continue to be delighted by the beautiful support and healing that occurs when we sit together in a circle each reflecting beauty, abundance, healing, or whatever we need at that time to know ourselves more deeply. What one woman speaks another woman needed to hear that piece at that time. It’s quite magical.
Women have been coming together, in circles for centuries to communicate and share. In times past it was at the water well where the needs of the community were discussed and planned. I wish every woman and every man had the opportunity to sit in a sacred circle regularly to be seen, heard, honored, and supported.
In your approach to healing from the past, what methods do you find most effective in helping individuals overcome past traumas?
Often my clients have been looping certain word tracks over and over which is stopping them from listening to and trusting their own intuition. Through listening to the words they are using and also the words they aren’t saying I can pinpoint a feeling or topic that have been avoiding or afraid to go to on their own.
To heal we must feel safe. My intention is always to create a safe space. Then by asking a few purposeful questions, the client gains their own insight and the healing process begins or continues. “The cave we fear to enter holds the treasure we seek.” – Joseph Campbell
How do you combine different modalities, such as Reiki and intuitive insights, to create a comprehensive healing experience for your clients? Could you provide a case where you successfully customized your healing approach to meet a client’s unique needs in their journey toward healing?
I have developed many skills/ gifts over the years. I have my psychic and mediumship abilities to call on during a session as well as oracle cards, accessing the Akashic records as well as Reiki. It depends on what will be most beneficial for the client at that time.
Often once a client has booked a session I may begin to revive a download of information that makes no sense to me however when relayed to the client it activates their healing. I have come to trust this process no matter how obscure it may seem to me.
I recall when I was cleaning my house one day I received a download of a vision of an older man in farming clothes at an old shed and he was repeating a particular message which seemed so random to me however I wrote it down as I had a client book a session. when I shared the download with the client she began to cry and shared with me it was her recently passed grandfather and the box in the shed he was telling me about had a key she had been looking for.
When working with clients seeking healing, how do you gauge the progress and effectiveness of your sessions?
The gauge for me in one session or a circle is the energy shift. I always ask how they are feeling and if they feel they have gained some clarity. It’s almost always a resounding yes.
When working with a client for multiple sessions I would ask them to set an intention ( goal) for the program or session and then ask for feedback as to if they received what they were seeking. I also ask if I could have supported them better.
