How has your own spiritual and personal growth journey influenced the accuracy and depth of your psychic and astrological services?
It has been a two-way street really. My own personal journey has influenced my readings due to the learning I have had to do for my own path and challenges. But I have also learned so much from my clients and their lives too.
I have read in a few places the idea that if you want to have a spiritually full and rewarding life then you will undergo many challenges which help you to grow and learn – I have found that my life has been quite ‘big’ in many ways- especially when I was younger, and all the mistakes and learning experiences I had to go through have certainly helped me to see and understand without any judgment when a client is facing similar challenges.
With Tarot and Astrology there is a lifetime of learning and seeing the planets and cards from new angles all the time. I began readings when I was 13 years old and so have grown up and learned about life within the Tarot discipline and framework. This has helped me to have a very deep and embodied connection with my craft.
In what ways do you combine astrology and psychic abilities to provide a more comprehensive reading for your clients?
My Premium readings are a two-hour exploration of the client’s life and issues using all my psychic abilities and astrological knowledge. I find that Tarot and the psychic readings are much better for specific questions and the next year or so. But astrology can look at the whole life, soul’s purpose and relationships, career etc of the client for this lifetime. Combining the two gives a really in-depth exploration of the client and where they are and where they are heading.
What type of services do you offer?
I offer email and zoom readings and also face to face readings in Hobart where I live. My readings are psychic where I use Tarot and intuition to read for people and I also offer Astrology readings examining the chart and future of clients as well.
Astrology and psychic readings both involve interpreting symbols and signs. How do you differentiate between messages from the stars and intuitive messages from within?
There are a lot of mathematics and rules with astrology whereas psychic readings are all about the intuition and messages I get. Astrology really is a science which utilizes intuition and insight, but you can give a good reading for someone by just following the rules of the discipline rather than needing to be psychic. My astrology teacher wasn’t very psychic but had a real feeling for the structure and sense of it all. So, I don’t really get messages from the stars, but I do get strong feelings about how the planets are playing out in the persons’ life and relationships.
I do use the tools of tarot cards in my psychic readings but the whole process is much more fluid and intuitive the whole way through.
Can you describe a specific instance where your psychic insights led to a significant positive change in someone’s life?
I did a reading for a client who was a lawyer who wanted to know about their career. The reading was very clear that they should quit law and become a nurse instead. When I said this to my client they were stunned as they had realized they really wanted to become a nurse when they had gone to a Palliative Care hospital and had a moment of total revelation that this was what they needed to do. They hadn’t told anyone and had kept it as a hidden dream. Once I told them what I saw, they felt affirmed in their feelings about nursing and ultimately ended their law career and followed their true path as a Palliative Care nurse, which made them feel very happy and fulfilled in a way law never had.
The field of psychics and astrology has transformed with technology. How have you embraced digital tools and online platforms while preserving the authenticity of your craft?
I started doing readings at a distance through my media career, firstly doing readings live on radio and then doing a psychic advice column for a major women’s magazine. Through this I really found a way to read for people remotely which came in very useful when email and zoom readings became possible.
I use exactly the same reading techniques for doing online and email readings as I do when the person is with me. I just shuffle the cards while focusing on the client and their questions rather than them shuffling themselves, then I do a complete reading as normal – I just write it down in the case of email readings. I have found I can really tune into the person and their energy and so the reading is about as accurate as face to face.
