What can you tell me about yourself and your professional background?
I have been living in Dublin since 2017. My parents come from former Yugoslavia and I was born in France. I used to be a sales director and in the corporate world for quite a while, but after some health issues and having recovered from some brain tumors and brain surgeries between 2014 and 2015, I needed to find my path in life, even though I wouldn’t call it a spiritual awakening at the time. I just knew I was not on the right path and I was given a second chance to do so.
I lived in Scotland for 7 years and I travelled the world a lot, and when I was presented with an opportunity to come to Ireland (shortly after my recovery), I just knew it would be the right country for me to find who I was. That’s my background in a nutshell. I worked in sales, I was a board member in different companies, I was traveling the world, etc. However, I wasn’t happy, so when I recovered from my health issues, I just said that I had to find my path which I knew was to help people in some shape or form. The corporate me is the old me!
The new me, the real me, is a multi-award-winning hypnotherapist, mind coach, reiki healer, grief educator, psychic medium, intuitive development teacher, and mentor. I am specializing in grief and am currently working on some grief education programmes.
What are the principles behind the hypnotherapy work that you do?
In a nutshell, the main principle is using the power of the subconscious mind to help people change any programs that are outdated. We all have a consciousness and a subconscious mind, and everything that happens to us, from birth to who we are today, is stored in the subconscious mind, which is like a huge storage unit. Hypnosis uses it a deep state of relaxation to help us, the therapists, access that subconscious part and change whatever outdated programs need to be changed. Then we, with our techniques and hypnotic language, will come in and put some positive suggestions to new positive programs in place. To use a metaphor, it’s like taking the weeds out of a garden and planting new seeds in it.
Then, because you access that powerful part which is the subconscious, the person will start to notice changes from session to session. It’s not magic, but it’s definitely very powerful because it allows you to bypass the rational mind and go really deeper to help people.
It’s important to note that the subconscious mind rules 95% of our lives, which is why it’s so powerful and crucial to reprogram that part of the brain.
Can you walk us through one of your psychic readings?
I do psychic and mediumship readings and I’m very specific about the wording here. So, purely psychic readings can be done over the phone, via Zoom or other online platforms, or in person. The person, a sitter or a client, comes to me and I don’t know anything about them. I don’t want to know anything. After the usual greetings, I take a minute or two to explain exactly how I work using all my senses and that I am not doing fortune telling or forecasting. I want to make sure that they’re at ease first of all and that they understand what the reading is all about. That’s the beginning.
Then I tune into the person’s energy and just give them everything that I pick up related to their present life, maybe past, or potential future outcomes. I present the results to them in an uplifting and enabling way because the goal for me is that the person who leaves my premises must feel enabled and uplifted by what they got from me. However, as I mentioned, I’m very strict about no fortune-telling or forecasting.
I’ll generally tune into a soul, establish a soul connection, and I get back to the client with what I feel. Then, in the end, if they feel that I might have not covered everything, I give them time to ask me a specific question they had in mind. However, I do usually cover most of it during the main part of the reading.
The mediumship reading is where I connect with loved ones in spirit. All I need here are yes/no/I don’t know answers, and I explain to them that everything that will come through is for their own good. It’s nothing bad. I don’t work with anything evil, we just channel whichever loved one wants to come, and I give them enough details so they have enough proof that we are talking to one of their loved ones, and then I communicate the messages that they need to hear. A spirit is clever. We don’t have to know, but they know what they need to say. A mediumship reading is a very sacred and uplifting experience and should always be treated as such.
How do you combine your psychic gifts, Mind Coaching, and Hypnotherapy to get the best results for your clients?
So, a person will book something specific. However, what I offer to people is a free discovery call before any therapy and coaching. The only exception can be if a person books a reading and knows that they specifically want a reading exclusively, they can book that. However, for anything else, we’ll book a discovery call, and will have a free call with me. During that call, I will assess what I feel would be the most beneficial for them.
While I’m an award-winning, fully insured and accredited professional, I don’t believe in doing things by the book. I’m not a person that works with templates. When a person comes to me, I will tune into their energy and feel the pain point. I will feel what I need to do and which modality I need to use. If we’re in a hypnotherapy session, I’m not going to start to channel their loved ones obviously. I’m going to focus on hypnosis. But I do keep myself open to anything I become aware of, always for my client’s higher good.
On the other hand, if something comes, if a message comes through at the end, and if I know the person is open to it, then I can give them a message if it’s applicable. Again, I’m very strict about the modality that I use. I will stick to it, but I will also always use my intuition and my abilities because we’re energy beings. I’m going to tune into the energy and know where the pain point is. The same goes for doing Reiki, where I’ll be guided to certain areas of the body.
We are amazing beings, and we have all the resources within ourselves. I am just a facilitator using my different modalities to help people unleash their full potential.
Do you have any special messages for our readers?
One piece of advice I have for everyone is to follow your path. We hear a lot of stories of people succeeding, but, on the other hand, we also hear stories of people being afraid to get out there, especially in the spiritual world. The truth is that it’s a competitive field, even though it shouldn’t be, but my advice for anyone involved in spiritual work is to get out there and be very genuine, be open, and make sure that people know who you are and what you do. But the bottom line is to get out there. The world needs us more than ever nowadays. It needs all of us and our spiritual abilities. We all have spiritual abilities to some degree, but if you feel that you can help the world in some way, get out there. Set yourself up, get trading, and use your skills to be of service to the world, while, obviously, protecting yourself at the same time, as well.
On that note, one thing I recently heard on a podcast that I really love is to go out there and expose yourself, if you have something to offer the words, but also be prepared to be criticized and to not be everyone’s cup of tea, and be happy that this is the case because if you start steering things, it means you’re doing something right. The main thing is to follow your soul’s purpose and true calling.
Is there anything else about your work that you’d like to share that we haven’t covered?
I’d like to touch a bit more on my grief work because. I’ve been this therapist specialized in trauma and I really niched down now to grief. I shift my focus a bit more on grief and end-of-life care in the near future. Being a medium, I also have that belief in the afterlife, so I’ve had to deal with a lot of people in grief or grieving. However, when we do mediumship, we’re not therapists, we do mediumship readings. While some of those people want a reading, they might not necessarily need it. Oftentimes they need grief support, and I found that there’s a need for grief support all over the world, especially in Europe, because we’re not as advanced as the U.S. or some other Anglo-Saxon countries. I’m very excited to start offering some grief education and support programmes soon, on top of the services I’m currently offering.
