Can you share a few details about yourself and your professional journey with our readers?

I began my healing work as a licensed physical therapist and certified transformative life coach. I mastered my craft through hours of continuing education honing palpation skills of the lymphatic, musculoskeletal, visceral, and neural systems of the body and my work as a PT and coach became more energetic and wholistic. This formal education was enhanced by curiosity and self-study about the quantum world, inner world, and my relationship with “reality”.

Trillium Healing Arts emerged from my personal healing journey which was assisted by energy healers, indigenous elders, Qi Gong and Yoga masters, and shamanic experience. Dream interpretation, nature immersion, breathwork, and plant medicine further enhanced my understanding of the complexities of my body, mind, and spirit. My own transformative experience lead me to many workshops deepening my understanding and the training led me to honorably facilitate the healing work of others.

What services do you offer?

Trillium Healing Arts is a transformative life coaching practice. My clients come to me seeking deep healing in the realms of body, mind, and spirit. I use several modalities to facilitate a transformative shift. Energy healing, shamanic journeying, and nature immersion are accompanied by skilled life coaching techniques.

Traditional coaching conversations are designed to establish intention and to provoke different ways of seeing so that concepts, beliefs, and stories can be transmuted from a miasma of stagnation into fuel for manifestation of intention.

Cognitive awareness is often not enough to facilitate transformation and deeper work is necessary. Energy Healing sessions can help mobilize traumas stored in the body. Once released, one feels more connected with themselves, gaining self-agency to move forward. Plant medicine, breathwork, and shamanic journeying are other ways to dive beneath the ego mind and release deep-seated fears, dramas, or misunderstandings.

Forest Bathing is a beautiful way of re-connecting to our Mother. Earth and all of her creatures are great teachers, communicating with us all of the time. However, we are heavily trained to know through our thinking mind, and our heart and intuitive minds become forgotten. The natural world can be a beautiful life coach.

What can a person expect from your energy healing sessions?

My Energy Healing sessions begin with a conversation about why the client has come for healing. From here, my goal is to help them establish an intention in positive form. With the intention clarified, I hold the intention in a prayerful and meditative state and “listen” to my client’s energy. I may assess the energy movement through the chakras, the aura bodies, or the bone body. Or, there are times when drumming or rattling facilitate the healing session. From a deep state of presence, I invite any blocked, dampened or excessive energy to let go, unfold, and balance. There is then an opportunity for sharing what came up for us both. Interpretation is from the client’s perspective and my role is to ask questions to help them make sense of the session so that they have information or a plan to move forward.

Can you describe Forest Bathing to people who are hearing the term for the first time?

Forest Bathing is an experience of entering into the natural world with the intention to remember how to connect with our nature self. Spending time outside of human-created systems with intentionality opens our senses and hones other ways of knowing outside of our societally trained ways. I guide my clients through meditations and exercises designed to help quiet the ego mind, tap into their inner knowing, and open up the intuitive self to receive the wisdom offered by the natural world.

Many of us have forgotten our intuitive selves. Forest Bathing is a beautiful way to relearn how to hear our deep wisdom, remembering how to hear our earth body speak, counsel, and guide us.

You organize different workshops/circles. Can tell us more about those?

I love the format of a Circle, also known as The Way of Council. We are all equal in a circle, we teach each other, we collectively learn. Each Circle focuses on a different aspect of our humanness but is all designed to stimulate personal and collective healing. Most Circles are held around the energy of transmutation and illumination of a fire and end with a community meal.

In the Women’s Circle, we discover the gifts of being listened to from the hearts of other women and of listening with our hearts to another’s story. Exploring our vulnerabilities, sharing our joys, and holding each other in our humanness creates a collective community brimmed with wisdom.

Moon Circles allow us to connect to the rhythms of nature through the moon phases. These circles are a practice of intention, illumination, letting go, and celebration. Dream Circles, Grief Circles, and Healing Circles offer other opportunities to collectively heal.

Workshops are 1 to 3-day opportunities to do our personal work and to bear witness to the personal work of others. These workshops create a community to help us heal from our sense of isolation, teach us how to reconnect with our intuitive self, heal from our sense of separation from Earth Mother and guide us into dropping below the egocentric self to uncover and release energetic holds on old traumas and ways of thinking so that we may manifest our souls calling.

What principles and ideas do you base your work as a Life Coach on?

The main principles I work with are: 1) our heart knows, 2) our ego can, and often does, sabotage our intentions, and 3) we are all connected. If our heart knows, why doesn’t the ego know? If our intellectual mind can see the pattern, why can’t we break it? If we are all connected, why do we feel so isolated?

Transformative work requires being open to infinite possibilities while embracing the mystery and magic of the unknown. It requires that we notice our patterns, relationships, and clinging to what we think to be true. With curiosity and willingness, we set the ego’s definition of reality aside and explore the energetic record-keeping of our body and mind. I use many techniques to help my clients discover their undercurrents of assumptions, energetic blocks due to stored trauma, and misguided beliefs about themselves, guiding my client so that they may hear the answers to these questions as spoken to them through their own inner wisdom. Once discovered and released there is a shift in perspective altering their reality and opening their world to new possibilities.
