Miki Orr Campbell is the founder of Zensational, a special place in Faribault (Minnesota) that “will take care of all your Reiki, vibrational sound therapy and psychic needs”.
In this special interview for MysticMag we asked Miki about what inspired her to start Zensational, her psychic medium gift and how the Vibrational Sound Therapy sessions work. Don’t miss out!
When did you find out that you were a psychic medium and could help people with it?
Around 2007-2008 I went to a psychic with a friend. It was at this session that she told me that I should consider going to her classes for psychic development. I laughed and said, “I don’t think so, I’m not psychic”. Spirit planted the seed and I couldn’t help but think about it. My husband at the time thought it was a waste of money and he did not encourage me to go any further with the idea. In the end, I couldn’t say no, and I decided to give it a whirl. It was life changing.
Sunset Spiritualist Church and Camp in Wells, Ks, is where I found my gifts. Sunset Spiritualist Church and Camp is the oldest Spiritualist church in our Nation. It was founded in the early 1890’s. This is where I learned true old-fashioned mediumship and psychic fundamentals.
Every year my church has a one or 2-week camp where people gather, stay on the property, and enjoy classes, sessions with healers, psychic mediums, and fellowship. In 2010 I was asked to help at camp because of a cancelation by a fellow Reader. This was when I knew I had finally realized what I was supposed to be when I grew up. I was in my late 40’s!
What inspired you to start Zensational (great name by the way!)?
Zensational was started by me and a friend in 2008-2009. While we were learning how to strengthen our psychic abilities, we would get together on Saturday afternoons for a “Psychic Saturday”.
On this particular Psychic Saturday afternoon, I got a message from Spirit during our meditation time to ask my friend to channel. As she began channeling, Spirit told us how to make sprays for the Chakras using crystals, essential oils and Reiki. This grew into a chakra set and several other sprays for energy therapy. The name Zensational was given to us by Spirit. We took our sprays on the road and traveled the spirit, mind and body fair circuit in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. We later added selling crystals with our sprays.
In 2010, my business partner pursued other adventures and I have been the sole owner growing and building Zensational ever since. I moved back home to Faribault, MN in 2016 where I opened an office downtown. I offer psychic readings, Reiki, vibrational sound therapy, and sell my sprays, crystals and other new age items.
Do you have a reading that you always remember, because of something unusual or the results achieved?
There isn’t any particular reading that sticks out. They are all so different, yet there is a common thread among them, and that’s healing.
I’m always amazed at how Spirit gives me the right words or emotions to help someone heal. There is a connection between myself and my client(s) when they give me permission to enter their space. When this happens, it allows Spirit to guide me in the direction of concern to offer guidance. I know I hit home when emotion results from what I have said. Now healing can take place in whatever form is needed. These are the things that I remember. The connection, crying together, the look when they have that “A Ha” moment or realizing their loved one is truly there telling me things I shouldn’t know.
How does your Vibrational Sound Therapy sessions work?
Vibrational Sound Therapy, VST, is a relaxation technique that uses subtle vibration and sound from a singing bowl rung directly on the body. The gentle sounds and vibrations help to relax the body. When we are in a relaxed state, it can help our body to repair itself naturally.
During a VST session, the client will lie on the table with shoes off and fully clothed. There will be soft music playing, crystals and essential oils will be placed on and around the body for maximum relaxation. The bowls will be placed on various parts of the body, and I will then begin the sound therapy by using a measured strike technique to generate healing vibrations. This allows the body an avenue to be calmed efficiently and go through noticeable changes and deeper and deeper states of rest. Being in a relaxed state can help our body, mind and spirit to repair itself naturally.
Can you explain to our readers what the My Way plan is?
The My Way Plan is for those who like to have a monthly self-care practice or for those who are working on specific issues. I use various methods to both align and keep your body and spirit in balance. Sometimes healing emotional and physical pain takes time to heal. The plan is for 6-months and gives my clients a monthly 45-minute energy session that includes Reiki, Vibrational Sound Therapy and a 3-card psychic reading.
Do you have a special message for our audience in these challenging times?
You are responsible for your 6 ft space around you. If you don’t like how it feels, it’s time to make different choices. Don’t waste time in the past, it brought you to where you need to be today. Bless it and move on, it’s all part of the journey. Find joy every day and live in gratitude.
