Have you ever wished you could communicate with your furry friend? Nicole Elizabeth, an Animal Communicator, claims to have the ability to do just that. During her career, she has helped pet owners connect with their animals on a deeper level and resolve behavioral issues. In this interview, Mystic Mag and Nicole delve into her unique gift and gain insight into the world of animal communication.
When did you first know that being an Animal Communicator was your calling and how did it come about?
I grew up speaking to my animals and thought it was normal until I was a bit older and realized that it wasn’t considered ‘normal’, so I shut down my abilities. However, about 10 years ago, I rescued a calf that we called Emma. It was Emma that really started me back on the spiritual path again. Because of her, I have a registered non-profit farm-animal rescue and sanctuary. Rescuing Emma really rescued me. I could have just neglected my spiritual side and gone with a regular 9-to-5 career, but she pulled me back on course. Having Emma, I remember what it was like to feel an animal’s emotions again. I would be nearly in tears caring for her and feeling what she was going through.
In Australia, we have wild dogs and they know to follow the livestock around and wait for when the livestock have their babies. This is when they attack. Emma’s mother gave premature birth to her, which was followed by a wild dog attack, resulting in her tail being ripped off and having bite marks all over her. She was in a very serious condition and the vets didn’t even think she would live. It was horrendous, but we got her through it. Feeling her emotions really ignited that flame in me again.
I also remember speaking to a medium who told me: “You’re a really big animal empath, aren’t you”; and I said “Yeah, I’ve been my whole life”; and she replied: “No, no, you need to do this for other people”. I wasn’t convinced, but she suggested putting me in touch with an animal communicator friend of hers. I followed her instructions, connected with her, and did professional training. That showed me that I actually can do this for other people.
What services do you offer?
I connect with animals all over the world. I offer the service of animal communication, where I relay the owner’s thoughts and feelings to the animals, and vice versa, so that they have a better understanding of each other. Animal communication is not mind-control but it’s a form of interspecies communication.
The other services I offer include healing and helping with missing pets.
If you have a rescue animal and you need to communicate to them that they are with you forever, that you are not going to hurt them or simply to communicate how things work, because they may be too scared, then a communication and healing session is a great service for this situation. I can send healing to the animal and help release any trauma, which a lot of rescue animals have. Even moving an animal from place to place can create trauma if the animal doesn’t know what’s happening.
When it comes to missing pets, I connect with them and allow them to show me what they want to or can at the time of the connection. I will also do a healing session for the animal and provide the owner with a Missing Pet Information eBook to help guide owners through this difficult time. This Missing Pet Information eBook also includes a template for the owner to update and print out to use as flyers
I have a wide range of other services that range from communications, aura readings to healing sessions. All of these can be found on the following link:

How do you establish contact with our beloved pets?
They don’t need to be in the same room as me, as it’s a pure heart-to-heart, soul-to-soul, spirit-to-spirit connection. You drop into your heart center and you send love, you send out the intention to speak to that particular animal, accept the process, and you receive the information. That’s kind of it. The animal doesn’t even have to be living. The pet could be crossed over, because when you’re there in spirit, time is of no relevance to them.
I’ve also had experiences where I’ve gone on my own pet’s timeline, to their past even though the pet is living. I find the whole spiritual connection, psychic and telepathic connection quite interesting. I have two completely deaf dogs, along with two hearing dogs, and you connect with them on a telepathic level. If you think about it, animals rely on telepathy to survive. That’s how they send our messages and how they trigger their defense mechanism to warn and save the rest.
Your energy goes out, your thoughts go out, and you receive it. I’ve actually done this with one of my deaf dogs. I live rurally so I have a big property and, I remember this one particular time, I didn’t know where she was. For that reason, I sent out an image to her of where I was standing and said: “I’m staying here until you come to me”. I kept sending her the information and, within 5 minutes, she was there. The moral of the story is that you can connect with animals on different levels — psychic, telepathic, etc.
What can a person expect from your sessions?
People contact me and I tell them that I’ll conduct a session with their pet prior to speaking to them. That’s because I want to get the pet’s point of view. That’s the same reason why, if you send me questions, I don’t want to look at them before I connect. After my session with the pet, I’ll connect with the client via phone or by a video link, or I can just record it on YouTube or type out my notes for them, whatever the client prefers.
What is the most important detail in maintaining a relationship of mutual trust with clients?
Honesty. Be honest. If you can’t make a connection or the information you receive is blurry or all over the place, then that’s what you give to the client, because that’s the representation of where the animal’s mind is. Sometimes animals have dementia and that’s exactly how they see life, so just be honest.
If you don’t have time to conduct a connection, then arrange a time when you can. We also need to rest after readings, and clients want us rested, as well, as then they can get the best out of us. So, if I’m fully booked out, I won’t squeeze people in, because it’s not fair towards my current clients, and it’s not fair to them either. Therefore, I limit the number of my weekly clients, as I want to give my best to everyone.
What do you love most about your profession?
I love getting those emails with feedback that I’ve made a difference in an animal’s life. That’s what I’m here for. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing an animal who was unsure, felt unloved from the past, or scared, to then blossom into this animal that is confident and knows it’s loved and is just vibrant.
If you can get that for someone’s animal, that’s just awesome. Changing animals’ lives and helping humans and animals understand each other, is why I do the work that I do. Animals often just want to be heard.
