When did you discover the power of breathing and energetic work?

It all started in 1999. I was in the middle of a divorce and I felt that life was taken away from me. I was taking antidepression and sleep medication but could feel that this was not going to help me to sort out things. After reading a book about energy and the life force, I discovered that I needed to heal my past, that I had to release trauma from the past to feel the flow of life again.

A few days later I discovered Rebirthing. A conscious connected breathwork modality that promised me that it would release energy blockages in my body to feel free again. And so I did my first rebirthing breathwork sessions with Marie Rose Windels and I received what it promised me. After 5 sessions I felt alive and kicking again. I experienced it so powerful that it would become my tool for healing, consciousness and connection. A tool to be one with love, joy, peace, health and abundance.

What issues, conditions, and chronic pains can you help alleviate or heal with your treatments?

Every condition we have in the body is because of blocked energy or suppressed emotions. Guilt, shame, fear, grief and anger are stuck in the body. By doing breathwork and by using the power of our thoughts, one has a very powerful tool to heal. The mind rules the body, so if the body shows us some symptoms, we need to look into that and find out the real cause of the suffering or pain.

What do you believe are the main concerns and problems that take away our energy and make us run away from our feelings?

Fear and being unconsciously addicted to ‘pain’ can make it hard to look into our feelings. But our feelings should be considered as a good friend who wants to tell us what is going on just by accepting the feelings and looking into it. Even if the mind doesn’t know, rebirthing breathwork will help us to dive into it and release the emotional charge from a past event that was not yet integrated and accepted.

We hold on to the past and as long as we are not in peace with our past, we will get the triggers to heal it. Not because life is against us but rather as real life wants to support us and wants us to feel good and joyous.

Can you explain to us what nadiki is?

With Nadiki, one is able to harmonize the energy he is in so that the natural healing energy can flow again. I would call it a kind of advanced reiki treatment, where the healer works with a protocol to be followed to find out in what domain the energy is stuck and to heal the blocking energy.

Where would you recommend that someone should start if he/she is feeling depressed, sad or unfulfilled? Is it breathwork exercises, yoga, other therapies?

One should allow himself to learn how to feel again and not judge about this. Getting out of the mind and doing activities that you really like. Walks in nature, sports, yoga, breathwork and breathing exercises. And we need to find out about personal lies. These are the non-loving thoughts someone has about himself.

As long as we have thoughts of separation and judgement, we stay stuck in the depression. It’s about learning to accept and to love yourself just the way you are right now and take it from there. It’s about claiming your own authority and to not let your life and health depend on other people. You should rule your own life and your body. It’s yours, nobody’s else.

Can you give us the idea for your book, Breathe to be Free? How was the process?

The book is about my breathwork journey from 1999 till 2018. It’s fun to share these stories as they inspire other people.

My stories are similar to other people’s life and I tell them how breathwork has changed my life completely. How it has brought me love, joy, peace, abundance and good health. I see it as my mission to help other people find their joy of life again.

Do you have a special message for our audience in these challenging times?

Claim your authority. Your life is yours. Your body is yours. Take up your responsibility for this. Start breathing the clear your mind and past. It’s not that difficult but it requires belief and consistency. And get yourself a good rebirthing breathwork practitioner who can guide you through the process. It will be the best investment you will ever make.
