This week, Mystic Mag‘s Marko Velimirovic had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Shirin Hedayati, a prominent Holistic Healer who kindly agreed to share some information about her career, healing sessions, and relationship with her clients.
When did you know that being a Holistic Healer was your calling, and how did it come about?
I attended the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in 2002 for four years. That decision came about when I was going through personal turmoil. At that time, my professional career was thriving as a general dentist, and we were living in our dream home and raising two beautiful daughters. However, my marriage was falling apart, and I felt like there was a hole in my life, and I didn’t know why or what it was. I had spent all my life being a good person, doing the right things, and seeking approval that even when seemingly I had everything I wanted, I was still unhappy and depressed.
Around that time, I signed up for a painting from the heart class that opened up my energy centers (I didn’t know what they were at the time), and a massive amount of stuck energy released through tears and with the help of this extraordinary teacher I recognized that I have been stifling my creative side. I also started getting massages from a woman who was a student at BBSH (the healing school I mentioned), and I first learned about the power of energy healing through her.
I started feeling more whole and became more clear on what I wanted in my life. As a dentist, I was already helping heal people’s physical pain, but as an energy healer, I could help them at a much deeper level. That is why I attended the school then and knew it was my calling.
What services do you offer?
Since 2006 when I graduated from the program, I have continued my growth, development, and healing journey. I attended the Center for Intentional Living, a three-year program that gave me a strong background in psychology combined with elements of childhood personality development and a person’s energetic body. Then I studied Shamanic healing with one of my mentors for a few years. That program helped me incorporate the elements of native American medicine into my healing.
In 2015 I got certified in The Reconnective healing. This incredible way of treating clients connected me even more strongly to the matrix of healing frequencies all around us and has become a very powerful aspect of my healing. I also became certified in high-performance coaching in 2015, which is a system of coaching that helps people be more clear, energetic, productive, and fulfilled in their lives. I combined all my skills and now offer my services as a Personal Energy Coach using my HEAT method (Healing Energy Alignment Therapy).
How would you describe Energy Healing and Reconnective Healing?
Energy healing can be presented via different methods such as Reiki, Brennan healing sciences, Qi Gong, and many more. These are healings based on clearing and charging the body’s energy centers, resulting in health within our physical, mental and emotional systems.
The Reconnective Healing is about connecting the body’s energy matrix to the Whole (God, Love, Universal intelligence) by allowing energy, light, and information to reconnect the person to this healthier state.
What can a person expect from your healing sessions?
I recommend a series of three sessions of a healing journey to my clients. These are 20 to 30 minutes each and start with a brief conversation about where the client is on that day and how they feel mentally, emotionally, and physically. Then I proceed by allowing energy through me and connecting to the client’s energy. I help remove the stuck or blocked energy and clear and charge the field
I also guide the client on visualizations as needed and help retrieve and reincorporate parts of their soul lost during a traumatic event when appropriate. My clients are aware and can communicate what is happening and what they like and don’t like. My clients report more peace, clarity, and joy at the end of each session. Many of them report pain relief by the end of the session. I have accommodated clients worldwide by holding these sessions online and or through phone calls.
What is the most important detail in maintaining a relationship of mutual trust with customers?
Ease of communication and listening to their concerns and needs have created a safe environment of mutual trust and comfort.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is observing and being part of someone’s life as they grow and heal and become the best version of themselves. I love seeing my clients become happier in their lives as they make more room for their healing, self-love, and self-care. They become healthier and more active with better relationships and feel more fulfilled. What can be better than that?
